The Sisterhood-After The Fall, Book Three Cover is Finished

I wanted to show off the new book cover with artwork by the amazing Duncan Long…

This is the third book cover Duncan has designed for us and he has truly exceeded our expectations every single time. The beauty of working with a professional like Duncan is his intuitive sensitivity to what his clients are trying to achieve, using just the right balance of color, texture, image, and illusion. Starting with the Warrior’s Mark previously commissioned from Chad Schoenauer, Duncan skillfully combines his hauntingly beautiful woman’s face with Nordic runes that speak to the beginnings of our story which opens in Scandinavia After The Fall of civilization. By placing the eye of the Sisterhood symbol over the third eye of the warrior priestess, he connects the mythology with the reality—the resulting image speaking to the spiritual as well as the earthly.

Thus, he succeeds in creating a magically evocative masterpiece destined to draw the reader into the hidden world of the Sisterhood Alliance, a secret society of warrior women dedicated to the vision of liberating their sisters held in bondage within the unforgiving context of the future social landscape. I invite you to visit the Sisterhood excerpt page to read the Prologue.

Be sure to weigh in with your comments on the cover and certainly treat yourself by stopping by Duncan’s portfolio at www.duncanlong.com to witness for yourself the vast talent that this brilliantly gifted artist brings to the table.
